SUMMARY:Session 1 of A Connected Life: Fulfilling relationships to weather tough times\, improve health\, and live a happier life.
DESCRIPTION:Each session is $65. So\, the price indicated here is for all three sessions of this program. \nRecent research has provided some stunning insights into the healing power of human connection. We are hardwired for social connection\, and having a strong relationship with ourselves\, friends\, family\, and our community plays a significant role in our emotional and physical well-being. \nWe are like horses in our need for strong social bonds. Horses live in herds and form strong social connections to ensure their safety and health. Additionally\, horses have survived for millions of years by utilizing a keen sense of awareness and emotional resilience\, lessons they naturally share with us when we are in their presence. \nIn this unprecedented time of uncertainty\, isolation\, and change\, building and maintaining strong relationships is a key ingredient to successfully navigating our day to day and what lies ahead. Luckily\, the horses are here to help. \nCombining fifteen years of coaching tools in personal development and leadership plus the wisdom and grace of our horse partners\, HorseLink is proud to offer this new program. This program is open to anyone who feels they could benefit from extra support and wishes to live a more connected life even during stressful times. \nSession 1 \nMindfulness and presence to relieve anxiety and manage stress. \nThis will consist of an introduction to our herd and the lessons they have to share about how to remain grounded and access peace even in chaotic times.  You will leave with tools on how to calm your nervous system\, trust your inner guidance\, and befriend your emotions. \nThis is part 1 of a three part series.  Part 2 is scheduled for October 10\, 2020 and Part 3 is scheduled for October 24.  The fee and registration is for all three dates. \nSpace is limited as we keep our group sizes small in order to ensure the safety and attention needed for each participant. \nPlease keep in mind that this program will be conducted outdoors\, so please take that into consideration when deciding to attend. We have thorough health safety measures in place due to the Covid 19 pandemic and will provide complete information to you once you are registered.

SUMMARY:Workshop: Find Your Voice....Speak Your Truth
DESCRIPTION:Find Your Voice……Speak Your Truth \nWe invite you to come and play with us – Julie Puentes\, Bridgette Parent Reid\, Margaret Webb and the HorseLink Herd – for what is bound to be a special day in Bastrop\, TX (an easy 45 minute drive from Austin). With technology and non-stop online connections as part of our daily lives things can feel chaotic causing us to lose connection with the inner voice of our authentic selves. It is a welcome gift to be able to unplug for a day and really listen to and hear that voice. Our inner voice is important because it connects us with what we believe and what matters to us most. We can silence the noise and frenzy in order to communicate our message\, our wants\, and our needs with greater clarity.  Combine this with some amazing four-legged teachers\, the HorseLink herd\, and we will create opportunities for participants to play with… \n\nshifting from a place of reaction to deliberate response\nlistening to one’s authentic self\nnoticing what it feels like in the body to acknowledge and speak/act in truth\nrecognizing patterns that may emerge in similar interactions with family/co-workers/friends\ntaking responsibility for the energy we bring to a situation and standing strong in our authenticity\n\nWhen you are not in touch with your authentic self you cannot show up fully as the person you want to be. This leads to an undercurrent of frustration\, irritation\, annoyance\,or apathy. We become numb to our own wants and needs\, thus they are never met. It can feel uncomfortable to begin using your power and voice because putting your own needs aside is a habit\, an old pattern. We know this and we want to help you create new patterns!!During this powerful workshop\, we help you access your authentic voice and use it\, allowing you the time and space to play with what this looks and feels like with teachers who will simply respond (or not) to the authentic energy that you show up with. The horses LOVE it when we take care of ourselves because it means that we are capable of leading and keeping the herd safe. What wonderful lessons they can teach us!! \n \nYou can trust that you will encounter the exact experience that your soul needs for its highest personal growth right now. One of the participants last year said she got more in this one day than she would have with 20 years of therapy! Seriously! And this is the thing\, we never know what’s going to come out of these Equus days. We just show up and let the magic unfold.  \n**Snacks and beverages will be provided. Participants will bring their own lunch. (If you prefer to have a lunch from SNAP Kitchen provided\, there will be an extra charge.)  \nNo horse experience necessary! We will not be riding the horses and all of the activities take place on the ground.
