DESCRIPTION:In response to increased demand for equine-assisted programming for youth and young adults\, HorseLink® is offering its first-ever program for teens.  The program is open to youth ages 16 – 18. Four sessions are included and will focus on improved personal physical and emotional safety\, healthy communications\, strong personal boundaries\, and moving forward with healthy goodbyes. The group is kept intentionally small\, registrations for up to six teens will be accepted on a first-come\, first-served basis. No refunds for missed sessions. Our adventure will not include riding the horses\, as these horses are retired and are no longer ridden. Additionally\, horses have survived for millions of years by utilizing a keen sense of awareness and emotional resilience\, lessons they naturally share with us when we are in their presence. \nIn this unprecedented time of uncertainty\, isolation\, and change\, building and maintaining strong relationships is a key ingredient to successfully navigating our day to day and what lies ahead. Luckily\, the horses are here to help. \nCombining fifteen years of coaching tools in personal development and leadership plus the wisdom and grace of our horse partners\, HorseLink is proud to offer this new program.
